A sleeping pad's insulation is crucial to a warm night’s sleep because you lose body heat to the cold ground beneath you. To counteract this our pad uses a variety of materials and construction techniques to prevent heat loss.

A sleeping pad's R-value measures its capacity to resist heat flow through it. The higher a pad’s R-value, the better it will insulate you against cold surfaces. Sleeping pad R-values range from less than 2 (minimally insulated) to 5.5 or more (very well insulated).

In comparison to other sleeping pads on the market we decided to use a thicker material that doesn't makes minimal noise while turning around during the night. The last thing you want is to wake up everyone on the campground.

The ultimate sleeping pad is super easy to inflate. Each air chamber can be inflated in about 30 seconds. It only takes 1 minute to completely inflate it.

You can also use any inflating device or pump sack with our sleeping pad.

Good question! In fact we decided to put the sleeping pad to the test with 3 Jack russel terriers and fortunately it survived. Our sleeping pad is made with high-density TPU fabric which is perfect for the most extreme (pet)situations.
